Whilst from the approach, the Carnglas Road project retains its original charm, reflecting the origins of its initial conception, the more significant transformation occurs internally.
As both a renovation and re-sculpting, an extensive programme has been put together to include renewal of the roof structure and its coverings, breaking out the original floors to the home, insulating and relaying. A series of structural alterations are proposed to ensure the residence is a social and active series of spaces that supports everyday life for the clients and their young family.
Green’s are working closely with the clients on their specification, their finishes, the newly formed kitchen and bathrooms and an interesting palette combination that pays homage to reflect a previous time.
