In-Development: Mary Twill Lane

In a perfectly elevated position on the periphery of the bustling fishing village of Mumbles, you will find the sought-after home of Fairhaven. With projection over Langland Bay and it’s golf course, this 1920’s home expresses plenty of character and natural charm.

This project invites us to restore the property’s original grandeur, whilst adding a heavily glazed single storey side extension, which encompasses more of its contemporary qualities. A roof extension, two front roof lights a pool house, and a two-storey extension to the rear are just a fraction of the extensive work that is projected for this dwelling.

Indeed, the brief’s success will come from the ability to nurture the hosting of family and friends, where the social aspect of living reflects the nature of the property. Simultaneously, the property’s extensive refurbishment should reflect the origin of the exterior, what originally seems to have been influenced by a Swansea based architect Glendinning Moxham.
