In-Development: The Cabin
Here at The Cabin, we are working with our clients and Roderick James Architects, from Totnes to produce this high quality, adaptable family home that meets the living requirements of a busy household. The build is contemporary in design, is simple in form and sympathetic to the scale and mass of the neighbouring community.
The new dwelling is constructed with a simple palette of high-quality natural materials which reflect those found within the sites immediate context. The Cabin’s envelope is predominantly clad in stained timber weather boarding with natural stone walling and a small amount of painted render. It has a standing seam metal roof on the mono pitch, whilst the flat roof is finished with moss sedum.
